KLM has
designed the first easy to move and locate lamination stackers. The stacker is designed to
accept a wide range of parts in the same unit. For example, the unit above handles a 8
inch diameter stator max with a 6 inch diameter minimum, or a 6 inch rotor max and a 4
inch diameter minimum. The stacker is manually moved on Thompson Ball Bushing and Rod, and located inside the press bed with a location pin. Many progressing dies may be run in the same press with only one set of stackers, and a less than 5 minute change over time from one size to the next.
